Seattle: Bikes take over Lake Washington Boulevard on Saturday

Saturday was the primary day this year that Seattle closed a 4-mile distort of Lake Washington Boulevard to car transportation so bicyclists could ride able and safe along the lakefront road (see schedule below towards more dates).

I pedaled over and clich‚ all stripes of cyclists taking advantage of the car-free day -- called Group vigour Bicycle Saturday & Sunday -- provided through the cooperation of Seattle Parks and Rec, organize vigorousness, and the Cascade Bicycle belabor.

Several were fragrant riders, stumbling upon it by accident, as they blend this stretch into their loops about the lake. But the majority were slower recreational bicycle riders ...
