This inaugural incident looks like it's going to be fast. The one loop swim hand down start into the current and favors a push to the turnaround and a coast back. Whether the swim will be wetsuit legal is still questionalble. The bike course does not look particularly challenging with what appears to be gradual climbs and a nice 20 mile down hill at the finish. Temps are expected to be tractable at 70-85f. The run looks flat & expeditious and should give itself to some honourableness marathon times.
So... after next weekends 70.3 it'll be grind in unison a all the same with a few weeks of gain and 3 months of hammering. topple b reduce on the IRON!
