Now accepting applications for Team Zoot GU
Announcing Team Zoot GU 2008, a collaborative effort from two leading brands in the multisport market! Zoot Sports, the #1 triathlon brand in the US, and GU Sports, the category leader in performance sports nutrition products will kick off the 2008 triathlon season with a team of 300 athletes carefully selected for their commitment to their sport, their sponsors and their communities.
Team members will receive a discounted package of custom Zoot GU team apparel, triathlon accessories and nutritional products. Athletes will also receive team support at various event venues and gain access to an exclusive online community space to connect with other athletes. Additionally, team members will have the option to purchase discounted team branded Zoot and GU products throughout the season.
Zoot and GU are looking for US age-group athletes who are passionate about the sport of triathlon, are committed to being positive ambassadors for the Zoot and GU brands, and utilize their training and racing experiences to reach out and better their communities. Zoot GU athletes will be leaders and loyal brand ambassadors. If you’re an active participant in multisport racing, have the desire to give back through sport and are excited to pledge your support to the brands that will in turn support you, we invite you to apply for our 2008 team. The application deadline is December 21st, 2007. Candidates will be notified and the team roster will be announced by February 1st.
