Getting ready to head down to our area’s 2nd sprint tri of this year. This race is in Boca Raton, FL and is a 1/4 mile swim / 10 mile bike / 3.1 mile run.
Can’t wait to test some new goggles and put the new bike to the test on a nice road course.

hey, 48 year old female here!
I did my first Triathlon back in 1983 and for a few years did 2 or 3 races a year. Mostly Olympic distance (we didn’t call it that back then) and some half Ironman distances.
I sucked. I was always over-trained and was young and dumb and didn’t have the info to know how to pace myself. I didn’r eat right or sleep enough. Just way to gung-ho to take it easy and I left my best work on the training field and bonked race day.
So now I’m back at it and if I can do the right stuff and not over-do it, I might go have some fun.
