O.K to Follow??

As I am a new to Biking around town, I am looking for Bike Routes.
What I have been doing is following bike routes then following people who are
“lance- ing it” as my friends call it. I try to follow abour 25 yards away to make sure I’m not interfering with them.
Is this an o.k. practice. and who would you feel if you were being followed by some 24 yr old.??

Looking for editors/writers for new, online triathlete publication

Hi, my name is Adam Jacobs and I am the Co-Owner of The Final Sprint, LLC; a small media company that owns and operates a variety of online sports publications.

*We are looking to launch new sites this summer that concern _triathlons_, cycling, swimming, and several other topics.* Content will include information on training for all levels, top-level news, nutrition, motivation, etc.

As a result, we are also *beginning to look for potential, part-time editors and writers that are highly motivated and passionate about one or more of the before-mentioned activities. * Although relevant degrees/certifications, as well as, journalistic and/or coaching experience are helpful, they are certainly not required.

Therefore, if you have an interest in any of these sports and some solid writing skills, then I encourage you to send an email to *apply@thefinalsprint.com*

Please include your contact information, the sport(s) you are interested in, a brief explanation of why and in what capacity you want to join our team and short synopsis of your relevant background.

Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.
Take care,

Adam Jacobs

Imky

Great news! The IMKY course has been announced. Louisville - IRONMAN.com (http://www.ironmanlive.com/events/ironman/louisville)

This inaugural event looks like it’s going to be fast. The one loop swim will start into the current and favors a push to the turnaround and a coast back. Whether the swim will be wetsuit legal is still questionalble. The bike course does not look particularly challenging with what appears to be gradual climbs and a nice 20 mile down hill at the end. Temps are expected to be mild at 70-85f. The run looks flat & fast and should lend itself to some good marathon times.

So… after next weekends 70.3 it’ll be grind time with a few weeks of recovery and 3 months of hammering. Bring on the IRON!

From the Firefly Brigade Forum

Bonifacio Global City will be celebrating Earth Day with an exhibit of environmentalists at the Bonifacio Global City Community Facility from April 26-28. With the continued dialogue and cooperation we have had this past few months, the Firefly Brigade was given booth space there. Its the old mini-golf area(Jaymi’s Grill) beside old Gerry’s and the […]

Inner Thigh Chafing on long run

Did a 12 mile run on Sunday, and my right-side inner thigh started chafing and bleeding after mile-9. Really weird, never had this happen before. I have the WF race coming up in 10 days, any suggestions for how to dress this up so that I can finish the race?

Howie Severino?s Sidetrip to Bohol

Talk about envy. Howie Severino’s side trip to Bohol is something that this blog hopes to accomplish in the future and he is there now doing what I could just dream of and fantasize about. But congratulations to him for doing so. Living one man’s biking would-be world in the flesh and […]

9th Tour of the Fireflies pictures

A view in Ayala avenue. Ayala is one of the well known streets in Makati, the premiere business district in the Philippines.

Another Ayala avenue picture. Bikers are having a rest and water stop after going about a third of the way. Still a long way to go and still you could see the eagerness to […]
